Dr. Nisha T S had done her M.Sc. in health and behavioural sciences, M.Phil. and PhD in special education from Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam. She worked with homosexual projects for few years and this experience had considerable influence in selecting the subject. The author with this exposure developed familiarity with the field area.
